May 5 | Emergency Preparedness for You and Your Pet

We all know we live in area that could be affected by a wide variety of emergencies or disasters and the time to prepare is now.

The key to better surviving a disaster is to ensure you and your family are prepared before the disaster strikes. But what about Pets. We saw in Hurricane Katrina that people refused to evacuate if they were not able to take their pets with them.

Don’t let this happen to you. This session will cover the supplies you should have on hand, how to make your home safe, what to do if you are evacuated and other key steps in developing your family and pet emergency plan.
