Aron loves food, and he has made a living telling people about it. As he would explain it, it is not just any food, it is sustainable, artisanal, ethical, and the closer to home the better. He believes that food nurtures change, and simple combinations are often the most rewarding. His passion is to play a role in raising more conscious eaters, and help make change happen one bite at a time.

He learned a thing or two in seventeen years at Capers Community Markets. Capers was instrumental in laying the foundation for the growth of the organic and natural foods industry in Vancouver, B.C. and is now owned by the world’s largest natural and organic food retailer, Whole Foods Markets. Aron gained broad based multi-disciplinary experience in operations, purchasing, marketing, brand development, employer branding, and public relations. He is a recognized, dedicated passionate leader with significant accomplishments in crisis management, social-corporate giving, website building and integrated marketing campaigns.

Aron is also an active community leader serving on various boards to forward broad based food systems initiatives that positively impact local organic food. He currently sits on the Green Table Network board, and previously was a board member with Farm Folk City Folk and the Vancouver Food Policy Council .

Aron is currently a Sustainable Marketing Consultant in Vancouver, B.C. He is continuing to provide direction to innovative companies who are growing by doing the right thing.
