June 12 | UBC Botanical Garden Course: Espalier

Espalier is a pruning technique of training fruit trees into interesting shapes.

Tony Maniezzo will discuss the cultural requirements, how to get started and how the trees are trained and pruned.

This is a great skill for individuals who would like to grow fruit trees, but have a limited amount of space on their property.

Please bring secateurs and a pair of gardening gloves.
