Community workshop. Put your local experience to work.

What serves the area well? What needs changing? It’s a chance to discuss with City staff and your neighbours some of the major issues and opportunities facing Main 2nd to 7th light industrial area such as: improving pedestrian crossings, enhancing the looks and feel of the area, expanding the range of shops and services, and providing additional housing.

Participants will receive background information in an interesting way: there will be guest speakers and site visits. Feedback from the workshop will lead to the drafting of directions, policies, and plans for the M27 light industrial area in Mount Pleasant. Sandwiches and snacks provided, childcare available upon request.
